Our furniture is manufactured in the far east, China to be specific. We make no secret of it. Labour costs are simply cheaper in China so that's where the initial assembly of our products takes place. This in turn allows us to keep our prices competitive and pass these savings on to you.

So how does this differ from the cheap copies on the market? Our materials are sourced worldwide, the leather used in our Eames Inspired Lounge Chairs and our office chairs, for example, is imported from Italy. Cheap copies are usually made using PU / Leather Match / Leatherette or any of the other varying names used to describe a material that is very definitely not Real Leather! Cheaper copies may also use Chinese Leather which is thinner, doesn't look or feel as good and doesn't last as long as premium quality Italian hide. Not only do the materials and their origin matter, the quality control and assembly process is also vitally important. Our furniture is manufactured under western supervision, we have our own staff based abroad ensuring every chair is produced ethically to our exacting standards.

In addition to these international quality control checks, our furniture is inspected again upon arrival in the UK. We check to ensure nothing has been damaged during transit and then carefully repackage your chair for delivery to you. We also employ our own team of UK fabricators and upholsterers, who supply to Harrods, London no less! This allows us to offer bespoke finishing on each and every chair we sell. Our Eames Inspired Lounge Chairs for example are all hand finished in the UK, combining your chosen veneer with the leather upholstery you've chosen and the classic black or polished aluminium struts and base.

Please don't be fooled by companies using Italian sounding names to market their furniture - chances are the furniture has never even seen Italy, it's probably manufactured in China - this is no bad thing, providing the correct materials are sourced and the right quality controls are put in place.

They say a picture paints a thousand words. True? Let's hope then that the pictures you are seeing are that of the product you are purchasing. How can you be sure that the image you are seeing on screen is the product you are going to receive once your purchase has been made? We've come across this many a time - online retailers stealing images from elsewhere on the internet and passing the products off as their own.

It may not seem too important at the moment of purchase. After all, you're not having to speak to someone face to face, you don't even need to pick up the phone, these days you can simply click a button and buy the products you want. So why then is service and after sales care so important? When you're ordering goods to be delivered to your home address, especially goods the size of furniture, it's important to know they will get there safely.

All our products are packaged for export and our staff are dedicated to ensure you're happy with every part of your order. Not just that you've purchased from us but the delivery and safe arrival of your goods.

The veneer should vary from chair to chair. You may think this is obvious but many cheap copies use laminates and not the original wood grain veneer. Our veneers are individual and as such you can see variation between the grain on each chair.

Our price includes the Ottoman. We can supply the two seperately so please contact us if you so wish but please bear in mind that if you are trying to match to an existing piece, the colour of the veneer and leather will naturally vary.
