We strive to provide you with as much understanding as possible about our products and purchasing from us. Below you will find the answers to some of the questions we are asked frequently and some not so frequently. Questions about your furniture

Is there a showroom where I can view your furniture?

Being an internet based business we do not have a physical showroom. One of the reasons we are able to offer such high quality reproductions at prices which are up to 70% less than you may find on the high street is because we do not have the considerable overhead of maintaining a showroom. This means we are able to pass these very great savings on to you.
 
How do I know what your Eames furniture looks like?

That’s simple. In essence, this website is our showroom and although it is not physical, it provides an excellent showcase for our products, featuring high quality images and guidance specifications to ensure you can see and know exactly what you are purchasing.

What is premium quality Italian leather?

Quite simply it is the leather of leather lovers. Admired and appreciated for its durability, luxurious texture and the ability to guarantee the most natural of looks and a wonderful patina (ageing process).

I would like a different colour than those which you offer, is this possible?

Yes, we can provide you with a bespoke product to your own choice of customised colour. Please be aware though that customized items are more expensive and generally take approximately 8-12 weeks from paid order to delivery. Also, due to their ‘one-off’ nature, customized orders cannot be cancelled or returned once placed.
 
Are your Eames Inspired chairs and furniture the originals?
 
All the furniture pieces featured on this website are very high quality reproductions inspired from designs of the originals. These beautifully crafted reproductions have been produced to a high standard of manufacture, closely observing the design dictates of the originals and often using the same materials. In other words they embody and replicate the essential design of the original creation without you having to pay in some cases up to ten times the price for the original.
 
What standard is the quality of your Eames Inspired chairs?

Please see above. In addition, the superb quality of our products enables us to confidently make the following assertion: You will not find a better quality product for less. We guarantee it. For more information about the quality of our chairs see here.
 
Can I see feedback or references from other customers?

Of course. Our delighted customers are always sending in glowing accounts that testify to the quality of our furniture and the high level of service we offer. Questions about ordering & payment

How do I order online and is it secure?

Making your payment online is quick, convenient, easy and secure because we accept payment through most major credit and debit cards (including visa, mastercard, switch and maestro) via PayPal, one of the largest and most trusted internet payment processors.
 
And, just so you know, you do not even have to be a PayPal member to pay by PayPal. Simply chose which items you wish to purchase and after you have done so proceed to checkout.

I would prefer to order by phone, is that ok?

By all means. We aim to accommodate a pleasurable buying experience in every way we possibly can. We are available to answer your questions and take orders/payment Monday – Sunday, 9.00am – 9.00 pm. Can I pay by cheque or postal order instead?

Absolutely. Make cheques or postal orders payable to Icon Inspired Limited and post to our address. If you do choose to pay by cheque, please be aware that we are unable to deliver your goods until your payment has cleared. Due to banking processes, this can take up to 10 working days from receipt of your payment.

May I pay by bank transfer?

You may indeed. Contact us here and we will email you a pro-forma invoice detailing how to pay by bank transfer.

Do you offer discounts?

We do. We offer a 3% discount on any purchase for those who wish to pay by bank transfer. We are able to offer this because it negates the fees we would have to pay if you were to pay by credit card. Why let the credit card companies benefit from 3% of the purchase price when you can save yourself that cost through payment by bank transfer.

Regarding quantity discounts. We only offer quantity discounts to trade and volume purchasers. This includes private individuals who are purchasing upwards of 5 items (excluding dining chairs). You may view our generous discount structure here. These discounts are in addition to the 3% discount offered to customers who wish to pay by bank transfer.

Questions about delivery

Can I collect my goods in person?

Unfortunately, due to the constraints imposed upon us by health and safety legislation, collecting your goods in person is not an option. This is why we offer a very fast, convenient and competitively priced delivery service.

What days and times you normally deliver?

Our standard service provides delivery, Monday through Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm. If you are out when the driver arrives, a card will usually be left informing you that delivery was attempted with a contact number for you to call for information about the next intended delivery date.

Do you deliver at the weekend?

Our standard service does not include weekend delivery. If you wish delivery to be arranged at the weekend (Saturday only), we will gladly assist. Please contact us here with details of the items you wish to order and your delivery address. However, please be aware that weekend deliveries are considerably more expensive and in many cases cost twice the rate of standard week day delivery.
 
How long after I order does delivery take?

We do our best to get your Eames items to you as quickly as possible. Normal delivery time for stock items to the UK mainland is approximately 2-7 working days. For non stock items add 8 - 12 weeks lead time.

What about delivery to Europe and worldwide?

We regularly deliver to Europe and worldwide. You can view indicative prices and request a quote here. For stock items, delivery to Europe is pprox 4-9 working days and the US, approx 7- 19 working days. For non stock items add 8 - 12 weeks lead time.

Will you deliver all of my items together?

Where all items are in stock we will generally deliver them altogether. If some items are in stock and others are subject to lead times we can either deliver the stock items first and the remainder upon arrival. Alternatively, we can wait for the lead time items to arrive and dispatch all of your items together. The latter is the least expensive delivery option.

Do you provide a receipt for my order?
 
We send you an email confirming the transaction, detailing the goods and the amount paid. If you wish we can also provide a detailed PDF receipt for you to print off.

Questions about our guarantee & returns

Do you provide a guarantee? 

We certainly do. For your peace of mind, all our products are supported and covered by a comprehensive manufacturer’s one year warranty return to base warranty. Obviously, this guarantee does not extend to faults incurred through neglect or general wear and tear. See here for more details.

What if I’m not satisfied with the goods? 

You can be confident of buying online because if you are not happy with your furniture for whatever reason you can simply cancel your order and get your money back. All you have to do inspect the goods upon arrival before signing for them. If they are not to your satisfaction, simply write ‘not satisfactory’ on the delivery note. Within 7 days after the delivery date, let us know in writing that you wish to cancel. Then, within 14 days after the date of delivery just return the item(s) to us in new, saleable condition in their original packaging.

Upon receiving the items back from you in new condition and the original packaging we will immediately refund the full purchase cost of the item(s) excluding, of course, the costs of delivery and return which are borne by the purchaser. The right to cancel only applies if we receive notification and return of the goods in accordance with these terms.

What happens if my item(s) arrive damaged?

Damages are rare because we take a lot of care over the packaging of our goods as well as only using trusted couriers who we have found to have an excellent track record. However, we are aware of the possibility that damages can occur and therefore request that you inspect the goods upon arrival as per our terms which detail the procedure for damaged goods.

Do you supply any other furniture?

Yes we do, Whatever your furniture requirements, especially designer and modern iconic classic pieces, we are able to supply the high quality pieces at very competitive prices. Simply send us an email here telling us what pieces you are interested in and we will be glad to provide you with a highly competitive quote.
